Structures of present indefinite tense

simple present

subject + V1+s/es+object

Subject: subject can be a noun or a pronoun that we talk about in a sentence, or we can say that the one who does something in a sentence is the subject.

Singular subjects: He, She, It, and any singular noun (Ram, apple, dog, etc.)

Plural subjects: I, We, You, and They or plural noun (boys, cows, apples, etc.)

Example: He plays well.

               Mohan speaks English well.

Rohan and Ragini are good friends.

Verb: actions that humans and animals perform are referred to as verbs, action verbs, or main verbs.

Objects: if you want to find out an object in a sentence just ask the question “what” regarding the verb if you get the answer to the question “what” it means you have an object in that sentence.

Example:             He eats mangoes.

                              Ram sells vegetables.

we can ask the question what does he eat? and the answer is mangoes in the same way, we can ask what does Ram sell? and the answer is vegetables.

Negative in present indefinite tense or simple present

subject + do/does(H.V.) + not + V1 + object
